BrilliantBot for Diamond Wholesalers
A workflow built around the problem wholesalers actually have: a wide inventory, and no reliable way to know who is asking for which part of it today.
In short
A diamond wholesaler carries broad inventory and supplies other businesses, which means the constraint is rarely stock and usually matching the right stone to the right buyer at the right moment. BrilliantBot matches buyer requests from monitored diamond trading groups against a wholesaler's uploaded stock and notifies them when something fits. It works only on stones present on a current stock list, covers only the groups the bot has been added to, and produces buyer interest rather than guaranteed sales.
The wholesaler's specific problem
A wholesale book is wide by design: many shapes, a spread of sizes, a range of qualities. That breadth is the value proposition, and it is also why demand is hard to track. Any given request touches a small slice of the inventory, and no person can hold the whole book in mind while reading group traffic all day.
The practical consequence is uneven turnover. The goods that sell are the ones you happen to remember and actively offer; the rest sit, not because they are unsaleable but because the request that fit them arrived while you were busy.
How the workflow runs
- Upload the stock list. The full book, not a selection — the long tail is where unexpected matches come from.
- Keep it current. Update sold stones, memo placements and repricing. This is the main ongoing effort, and it directly determines match quality.
- Receive matched requests. Buyer requests from monitored groups arrive with the specific stones of yours that satisfy them.
- Respond and quote yourself. Price and terms are entirely your decision; the platform takes no part in the negotiation.
- Watch what recurs. Repeated requests you cannot fill are purchasing signals for the next parcel you buy.
What tends to change
Two effects are worth expecting. First, coverage of your own book improves: stones you had stopped offering are still compared against every incoming request. Second, response time shortens, which matters because in this market the first credible answer often wins the trade.
What does not change is the commercial work. You still verify, quote, negotiate, arrange memo, ship and collect. BrilliantBot is not a marketplace, broker, escrow service or payment processor, and it does not hold funds.
Honest constraints
Matching sees only what you uploaded, so an incomplete list produces incomplete results. Stale records produce matches on goods you no longer hold. Demand coverage is bounded by the monitored groups, not the whole market. Ambiguous requests may be matched loosely or missed. Terms are a full 14-day trial, then $150 per month per dealer account.
